Earning Criteria

To earn the IP Honors Microcredential learners attend four (4) Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) Knowledge Exchange Events, each mapped to one (1) of the IPEC collaborative competencies: Communication, Roles/Responsibilities, Teamwork, and Ethics/Values. Knowledge Exchanges are considered ‘exposure’ level experiences, and include an experiential opportunity for students to learn with, from, and about each other while addressing a particular topic.
Reflective paper on each of the four (4) CAIEP Knowledge Exchange events attended – each reflection centered around an IPEC collaborative competency: Communication, Roles/Responsibilities, Teamwork, and Ethics/Values.
Participate in one (1) 'immersive', ‘interactive’, or 'competency level' event (Interprofessional Team Immersion (IPTI); service learning; pre-clinical or clinical activity; simulation with required written or performed product). Must be approved in advance by CAIEP/faculty mentor.
Develop and present an interprofessional/collaborative team project (e.g. student showcase; poster session; slide presentation; panel; interactive session; formal presentation to audience). Must be approved by CAIEP/faculty mentor.
