Earning Criteria

Hold an active ICF Credential in good standing at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC) level.

Demonstrate completion of at least 60 hours of team coaching education or training.

Demonstrate completion of at least five (5) team coaching engagements.

Complete a minimum of five (5) hours of guided reflective practice with an eligible coaching supervisor or mentor coach trained in coaching supervision.

Submit a completed application for the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.

Successfully pass the ICF Team Coaching Certification exam, a comprehensive test that measures a candidate's knowledge of the ICF Team Coaching Competencies and proficiency in team coaching practice.
Standards
ICF’s Team Coaching Competencies describe the knowledge and skills a professional coach must have to effectively engage in team coaching. The ICF Team Coaching Competencies are designed to integrate with the ICF Core Competencies, which provide the foundation for all coaching practice.
The ICF Core Competencies were developed to support a greater understanding of the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession as defined by the International Coaching Federation.
The ICF Code of Ethics describes the ICF core values, ethical principles and ethical standards of behavior for all ICF Professionals.
