The course objective is to educate all computer users on internet security. The general course topics include securing new and corrupted computers; protecting computers and their contents; securing computer networks; maintaining privacy; safe internet usage; and protecting and securing mobile and gaming devices. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0279 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0250.
