Beyond the fundamentals of bookkeeping, earners of this Certificate learn how to prepare three financial statements: balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows. In addition to preparing financial statements, earners know how to interpret the financial information to business owners in layman's terms.
Complete a knowledge exam following the Bookkeepers.com Skills program. This exam demonstrates that the earner has a firm grasp of the concepts of being a bookkeeping professional. A vast array of bookkeeping topics is covered in this program, to include: financial statement preparation, interpretation of those financial statements, general ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
