The Certified Financial Counselor (CFC) designation provides counselors/coaches with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to help clients improve their financial health. This is accomplished by creating and understanding budget and debt management planning, credit reports and scoring, steps to making large purchases and financing an education. Counselors and coaches will work with clients to develop an action plan. The counselor/coach adds accountability to the implementation of the action plan.
