Module 2 provides information and discussion on Central Bank actions and their impact on interest rates, inflation and economic activity. Since 2008 the weakened global economic conditions have led Central Banks to stimulate economic recovery in the form of large-scale asset repurchase schemes generally referred to as Quantitative Easing (QE). This Module explores QE, Credit, Inflation and Monetary policy and looks at the impact of them on many aspects of global and regional economies.
