Earning Criteria

• Earner is an employee of IBM
• Possess profound knowledge of the programming language relevant to the automation tool in use. Profound knowledge of the automation tools popular in the marketplace, both open source and commercial products along with good understanding of the IBM Test Automation offerings. Ability to perform technical assessment of the application landscape and propose appropriate automation solutions. Possess good understanding of the best practices in the test automation area.
• Complete ONE of the following Learning Programmes: Test Automation Advanced Concepts (Selenium) OR Test Automation Advanced Concepts (RFT) OR Test Automation Advanced Concepts (UFT) OR Test Automation Advanced Concepts (Worksoft)
• Demonstrated the application of knowledge by performing activities that include: Creating test automation strategy and road map; Designing automation solutions ;Performing the tool evaluation and risk assessments; Designing and development of automation frameworks; Solving the technical issues related to automation;
• Completed five projects with minimal 3000 hours demonstrating core skills as defined in the GBS Progression & Promotion model
• Contributed to the evolution of the Test Automation by creating at least two assets e.g. Solution guidance, case studies, blogs, best practice, white papers, POV
• Coached at least two people through the process of adopting the Test Automation on separate client engagements
• Understand the importance of the IBM Way and how it relates to Quality Engineering activities
