The course objective is to understand the relationship between reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) as a critical factor in design, performance, cost, and sustainment. The course covers the cross-disciplinary actions of Program Management, Systems Engineering, test and Evaluation and presents basic (RAM) terminology and engineering practices as well as current legislative and DoD policy that pertain to the course subject. Prerequisite: ACQ 101.
