WIAL Senior Action Learning Coach (SALC) Certification-holder is trained (32+ hours), has had 100 hours of experience with Action Learning, with at least 50 hours coaching. Has coached in a long term project (weeks or months long). Has led*, with a Master Action Learning Coach - MALC observing, the Action Learning Certification program. And has mentored at least one participant to become a CALC. The SALC must be renewed every two years.

Earning Criteria

Has been a WIAL Certified Action Learning Coach - CALC or WIAL Professional Action Learning Coach - PALC
Completion of report with the listing of Action Learning sessions documenting the challenges and learnings encountered during the longer term Action Learning project (multi-session over weeks). (PALCs will have fulfilled this requirement during their PALC application.)
Has been the Action Learning Coach in, minimun, 4 sessions over several weeks. (PALCs will have fulfilled this requirement during their PALC application.)
Has had, minimun of, 100 hours of Action Learning experience (of which at least 50 hours in coaching). (PALCs will have fulfilled this requirement during their PALC application.)
Has led*, with a Master Action Learning Coach - MALC observing, the Action Learning Certification program in which participants build progressively their proficiency in coaching teams engaged in: (1) Action Learning, (2) the development and implementation of an Action Learning project, and (3) reflection and writing on their Action Learning experiences.
Has mentored at least one of the participants to become a CALC.
