Earning Criteria

Complete the Bookkeeper Launch (BL) program. BL teaches the fundamentals of bookkeeping as it relates to serving business owners and entrepreneurs. Beyond the fundamentals of bookkeeping, earners of this Certificate learn how to prepare three financial statements: balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows. In addition to preparing financial statements, earners know how to interpret the financial information to business owners in layman's terms.
Complete a knowledge exam following the Bookkeeper Launch program. This exam demonstrates that the earner has a firm grasp of the concepts of being a bookkeeping professional. A vast array of bookkeeping topics is covered in this program, to include: financial statement preparation, interpretation of those financial statements, general ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Complete, with a perfect score, the practical exam. This moves beyond bookkeeping concepts and into the practical, actually doing, the work required to serve business owners and entrepreneurs as their bookkeeping professional. Earners work through a rigorous set of bookkeeping scenarios in order to build a complete set of accurate financial statements.
