Earning Criteria

  • Candidate must possess a current license to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Have Fire Fighter 1, NFPA 1001 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard) OR Advanced Exterior Industrial Fire Brigade Member, NFPA 1081 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard) OR Interior Structural Fire Brigade Member, NFPA 1081 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard). 
  • Complete Basic Apparatus Preventive Maintenance training in accordance with NFPA 1002. 
  • Complete Driver Operator – Pumper training in accordance with NFPA 1002.  
  • Successfully complete the Professional Certification assessment examination.
