The Patterns Amplified badge is issued to people who have successfully completed the Patterns Amplified program. This badge earner has demonstrated strong leadership and time management skills, in which they have coached and supported an Incubator team in the Patterns Getting Started Incubator program. They helped their team of designers to establish and grow their design thinking skills. Additionally, they attended and completed the live education sessions and the program's Your Learning plan.

Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM, and a Designer. Participation is by nomination only. Managers can nominate designers to participate by following the instructions available on this link.
Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing Patterns commitments with normal day-to-day responsibilities.
Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills in Enterprise Design Thinking as well as skills in mentoring in their design craft.
Demonstrate strong coaching of others to create and deliver excellent experiences.
Demonstrate growth in their communication (written and verbal) skills.
Pass the evaluation that will assess the above criteria. The evaluation will be conducted by the program managers against a defined rubric.
