Participant was onboarded to Azure Kubernetes Hackathon through a nomination process and completed self-paced Kubernetes learning (24 hours) consisting of Kubernetes Learning Path, Version 3.0 - 50 days from zero to hero with Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster architecture and operations, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) application and cluster scalability and AKS Baseline Architecture.

Hackathon instructor ensured that the prerequisites are completed and that attendee environments are ready. Participant’s ability to navigate successfully and effectively through all steps were checked by taking part in Remote pre-hackathon sessions, where they were tasked with 2 challenges – to provision first Kubernetes cluster using AKS and to deploy application to new cluster.
