Many of Microsoft’s software and technologies are technically complex, and professionals may require training from knowledgeable trainers in aspects of their use. Earning Criteria

VALIDATE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain active MCT status by enrolling or renewing in the MCT Program on an annual basis
- Possess a current qualifying Microsoft Certification
- Demonstrate instructional skills

Occupations

ICT Trainers

Conduct training-needs analysis and design programs to train students in the use of software packages and information systems. Produce and update existing training materials; deliver effective training in classroom, online, or informally; and monitor, evaluate, and report effectiveness of training.

Career/Technical Education Teachers, Postsecondary

Teach vocational courses intended to provide occupational training below the baccalaureate level in subjects such as construction, mechanics/repair, manufacturing, transportation, or cosmetology, primarily to students who have graduated from or left high school. Teaching takes place in public or private schools whose primary business is academic or vocational education.

Computer Science Teachers, Postsecondary

Teach courses in computer science. May specialize in a field of computer science, such as the design and function of computers or operations and research analysis. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.

Health Specialties Teachers, Postsecondary

Teach courses in health specialties, in fields such as dentistry, laboratory technology, medicine, pharmacy, public health, therapy, and veterinary medicine.

Instructional Coordinators

Develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, and incorporate current technology in specialized fields that provide guidelines to educators and instructors for developing curricula and conducting courses. Includes educational consultants and specialists, and instructional material directors.
