Advanced Visual Effects (VFX for Motion)

The student is able to create special visual effects on live footage by implementing their compositing and VFX skills using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Cinema 4D Lite. The student knows the basics of Keying, Tracking, Rotoscoping, and Matchmoving. The student understands point and planar tracking, FG element integration, and the difference between nodes and layers. They can create effect stacks, use fx element footage, comp 3D elements into footage and more!

Earning Criteria

Students submitted at least 70% of their assigned motion graphics pieces or boards with original project files to their Teaching Assistant within the 12 week duration of the course.
