Mentor Coaching delivers an in-depth exploration of the ICF Core Competencies and empowers you to excel as a coach.Earners demonstrate elite skill in Excelerator Coaching™ Principles and non-directive coaching competencies. They showcase this skill in a live 30-minute coaching session observed by an ICF-Accredited Coach. Upon completion, students earn 10 hours of ICF-recognized Mentor Coaching, and they may apply for their Certified Leadership Coach Designation through Essential Impact.

Earning Criteria

Prerequisite: Excelerator™ Essentials and Excelerator™ Mastery, or comparable coach training.

Gain in-depth exploration of the ICF Core Competencies, earn 10 Mentor Coaching Hours, and complete your Certified Leadership Coach Designation, and/or apply for or renew your ICF Credential.

Earners complete three private 60-minute coaching sessions with a dedicated ICF-Accredited Essential Impact Coach. At least one of these three sessions must include a live, 30-minute coaching demonstration observed by an ICF-Accredited Essential Impact Coach. During this session, earners must coach someone from outside their cohort. After their coaching demonstration, they receive written and verbal feedback from their Mentor Coach.
Standards
Essential Impact is Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Education Service Provider. Our accreditation is through the International Coaching Federation, a global governing body for coaching and coach training.
