This STEM Certificate denotes the support provided by a placement provider to one or more students as part of the Nuffield Research Placements programme. By hosting a student, placement providers have fulfilled not only a subject-specific role as a knowledge expert collaborator on a real-world R&D project with their hosted student, but also the associated mentoring necessary to guide a young person(s) through a structured experience that results in high-quality, meaningful outputs.
