CAAC (COMMON Americas Advisory Council) members are individuals who take time away from their regular roles and jobs to meet and provide feedback to the IBM i team on product strategy and requirements that help shape the future of the platform. They are technical experts who are viewed as thought leaders within the IBM i community. You can expect them to provide expert technical guidance on IBM i to others in the community and to advocate for the platform.

Earning Criteria

Must be a member of one of the COMMON.
Must be able to speak and write in English.
Must have a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed with IBM.
Must serve as a member of the CAAC for at least one year.
Must attend at least 1 CAAC face-to-face meeting each year.
Must be in good standing with IBM.
Must be nominated and supported by the current CAAC IBM liaison.
