Earning Criteria

• This individual has an understanding of the fundamental principles of Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities and Impacts within the Softwash industry.
• This individual has thorough knowledge and understanding of Biofilm and is able to identify the micro-organisms that affect exterior hard surfaces.
• This individual can identify the cause and effect of biofilm and bio-corrosive activity.
• This individual has effectively completed a site survey and formulated an action plan for the removal of biofilm and/or airborne soiling.
• This individual has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of other exterior cleaning products available to maximise the efficiency of professional use biocide within the Softwash industry.
• This individual has developed knowledge in the practical and safer application of softwashing chemicals using Softwash tooling, techniques and treatment regimes.
• This individual has a thorough understanding of the application, effects, benefits and environmental responsibilities with regard to Softwash products.
