ISC2 Candidates are individuals pursuing or considering a cybersecurity certification. To become a Candidate, the individual must apply online and provide minimum identifying information, as well as affirm that they will abide by the ISC2 Code of Ethics and Privacy Policy.

ISC2 Candidates are part of the diverse, global community of individuals with a desire to create a safe and secure cyber world.
ISC2 Candidates are part of the ISC2 pledge to certify one million individuals and as such, have access to foundational education materials to pursue the entry-level Certified in Cybersecurity certification.
ISC2 Candidates are pursuing their first ISC2 certification, or gaining the foundational knowledge necessary to join the cybersecurity workforce.

Earning Criteria

ISC2 Candidates agree to the ISC2 Privacy Policy
ISC2 Candidates will create an account with ISC2 and agree to abide by the Code of Ethics
After their first year, ISC2 Candidates are required to pay annual dues to maintain status
