LPIC-3 is the highest certification in the Linux Professional Institute's multi-level Linux professional certification program. Earners of the LPIC-3 designation have validated their ability to perform system installation, management, security, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks with the specific technologies. The LPIC-3 Core certification was retired by LPI in late 2013 but is still a valid certification for 5 years since date of issue.
