One way that IDOL courses® works to achieve our mission is by offering experience opportunities to the next generation of learning developers - our students. IDOL courses provides a framework and support for students working together as a team to design and develop a training solution. The completed projects are available to non-profit organizations free of charge. Earners have demonstrated the ability to self-organize, show up, and self-direct an eLearning course from start to finish.

Earning Criteria

All members of the team are IDOL courses Academy members or alumni. The exception is the SME, who might be alumni, or who might be from outside the Academy if the team can find someone willing to donate their time. These students work directly with an organization or a SME to analyze, design and develop a training solution that will benefit a specific organization or the non-profit world at large.
Earners must contribute the the IDOL world project in a significant way from start to finish of the project. Only those that regularly communicate, deliver artifacts on schedule, and work consistently on the project are eligible for this badge.
IDOL World Project volunteers work with subject matter experts to create instruction and training that is used by non-profit organizations.
