Leadership Development Programme: Core Stage

The Core Stage of the Leadership Development Programme provides a foundation for all managers at Thinkproject, across all entities and levels in the organisation. The workshops on Managing Remotely and Embedding change include the themes that were identified as particularly important by Thinkproject, which are change management, communication and feedback, stress/mental wellbeing/workload management and managing/leading remotely.

Earning Criteria

Through the Managing Remote Teams module, this individual has:
Learned how to set up the right working environment (physical and psychological) for themselves and their team to perform when working away from a fixed location.
Learned to keep and develop trust from a distance.
Learned to enable effective communication and support.
Learned to enable team motivation whilst maintaining team cohesion.
Learned to set and understand expectations to perform. - Learned to look after themselves and others.
Through the Embedding Change module, this individual has:
Learned to proactively plan, communicate and embed change.
Learned about people’s reaction to change and how support others through different stages of the change curve.
Learned about the steps required to effectively embed change.
Learned to recognise common landmines that can derail change.
Learned how to have effective conversations to get others on board with change.
Learned to make change stick.
