Earning Criteria

Certification is open to all applicants – there is no requirement for any previous certification.
To achieve certification to the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation Body of Knowledge, Candidates must complete the Level 1 Learning Units defined in Section 3.1 of the TOGAF® Certification Program Conformance Requirements (Multi-Level), Version 4.0 document and pass the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 examination.
The TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 examination is the assessment for the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation certification.
The duration of certification is indefinite – certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.
