Earners of the Mental Health First Aid- Trained badge have completed a 12 hour face-to-face or the blended MHFA course comprising e-learning modules and face-to-face workshop. Earners have learnt how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing the worsening of an existing mental health problem, or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis is resolved, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

Earning Criteria

Completion of a 12 hour MHFA face to face course or the blended MHFA course comprising e-learning modules and face to face workshop
Attendance, participation and progression through course content, completion of all course activities delivered in face-to-face/e-learning workshops. The program is developed by Mental Health First Aid Australia and delivered by qualified accredited Griffith staff.
