In this multi-track program, individuals have learned to create, code, maintain, and enhance software applications in a chosen technology path of C, C++, C# .NET, Java, Go, XML, or Python. They’ve learned to develop applications for Android and iPhone mobile devices and design an object-oriented system. They have also focused on the basics of machine learning and data mining and employed computational and artificial intelligence techniques.

Earning Criteria

Completed at least two of the following core courses: Object-Oriented Analysis and Design; Python for Programmers; C# Programming, Comprehensive; C++ Programming, Comprehensive; Java Programming, Comprehensive; or C Programming, Advanced; and at least two electives. Earned 14 units. Met all requirements for a UCSC Silicon Valley Certificate in Computer Programming.
