Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM
Optional: read the IBM Leadership Academy's Mentoring description
Mentor at least 3 IBMers (or non-IBMers on an IBM sponsored external program), making at least 3 face-to-face/video conference connections with each of them, working to develop the area of interest of the mentees: career progression, certification, networking, socialization etc.
The mentoring relationship must be effective according to the mentee's objective. The mentor should encourage the mentee to drive the relationship. There must be enough knowledge transfer that supports the mentee objectives.

Revalidation: this badge is valid for 2 years. After this period you will need to apply for a revalidation. To revalidate your badge, you must have mentored at least 1 IBMer (or non-IBMers on an IBM sponsored external program) in the past 2 years. Click here to submit a revalidation application.
