NHA's Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification may be earned by eligible candidates who pass the CCMA exam, which is designed to assess knowledge associated with critical competencies of entry-level medical assistants. The exam time limit is 3 hours. The exam is administered by trained proctors either at PSI test sites or NHA-authorized test sites at schools, military bases, and other approved locations. The cut score for this exam is 390.
