The Journeys for Justice II course examines the historic and continuing struggle in the fight for equality by the Mexican American/Chicana/o/x population, demonstrating a firm commitment to confronting systemic racism and other forms of social inequality. Students navigate through the Mexican American/Chicana/o/x experience in the United States during the 1930s through the 1990s. Each of these periods were imperative to the formation of an anti-colonial and anti-white supremacist consciousness.
