After completing this Learning Lab, participants are able to confidently plan and submit an Extended Reality IRB research project that encompasses all the major information categories they will need to understand. They also are able to fill in how to best structure their research “plan of work” so that it has the best chance of approval from the IRB committee.

Earning Criteria

Participants created an Extended Reality IRB research proposal covering one of six topics: Arts, Communications, Engineering, Humanities, Science, or Languages. They worked in groups to brainstorm a research topic and created the final IRB proposal.
