Manager, Sales Operations

Based in New York City, the Manager of Sales Operations will be responsible for owning the processes, systems, and activities that enable Credly’s Sales team to operate effectively–with a specific focus around the optimization our suite of CRM tools, including– Salesforce.com. In addition, the Manager of Sales Operations will bring an analytical capability that enables us to continually improve performance and seize new opportunities by industry.


Salesforce workflow, data administration, process and reporting:

  • Responsible for the administration of Salesforce.com as it relates to supporting the Sales organization, administering workflows, processes and accurate reporting of Credly’s CRM.

  • Acts as a key liaison/partner between the Sales Team, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and streamlined data and reporting alignment and system integrations

  • Monitors the accuracy - and is responsible for the efficient distribution - of sales reports and other data essential to the sales organization

  • Helps to establish, communicate and monitor sales campaigns


Salesforce analytics

  • Develops and maintains key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting to provide insight into state of sales for key constituents and automate the delivery of data to sales reps and managers related to customer and sales-related activities

  • Responsible for assisting in the facilitation of forecasting, planning and other operational processes

  • Ensures all sales organization objectives and progress towards goals and reports are clearly communicated and documented in a timely fashion

  • Supports Sales leadership with data mining and analysis


Finance and Sales Compensation Plan Administration

  • Works with Sales leadership to provide assistance with sales incentive programs and compensation planning in order to increase sales productivity

  • Maintains tracking systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely payment of sales compensation


Process Guidance and Compliance

  • Develops and documents the processes, standards, and rules of engagement that direct how our sales staff engages with our CRM

  • Ensures compliance with the CRM policy by sales and drives the optimization and enhancement of how the organization uses its CRM

  • Documents and updates the processes, standards, and rules of engagement that direct how our sales staff engages with customers and across verticals

  • Coordinates training materials and conducts training (CRM, etc.) and helps with on-boarding new sales employees

  • Relentlessly analyzes the business and proactively offers insight and recommendations to sales and executive leadership

  • Coordinate across departments to align resources behind sales strategy


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field

  • Advanced Salesforce skills

  • Highly organized with an obsessive attention to details

  • Intermediate level Excel skills

  • Prefer working in start-ups over working for large corporates and enjoy the challenge of building something from the ground up.

  • Solid understanding of B2B SaaS sales and transactional business fundamentals

  • Exceptional at structuring, interpreting, and presenting analysis

  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
