Universal Design of Instruction - UDI (Do)

Universal Design of Instruction (UDI) is a proactive educational framework for applying universal design principles to learning environments with a goal toward greater accessibility for all learners.  This badge acknowledges participation in a faculty learning community that is dedicated to understanding a model for higher education institutions to remove barriers to learning by designing all products and environments to be accessible to everyone.

Criteria

Recipient has applied the knowledge gained on Universal Design of Instruction (UDI) to change some aspect of her/his teaching (inside or outside the classroom). The individual has produced an extensive written reflection and shared artifacts demonstrating the change in practice (i.e. a revised assignment, new grading rubric, enhancement to a course Canvas shell, etc.)
