Universal Design of Instruction - UDI (Share)

Universal Design of Instruction (UDI) is a proactive educational framework for applying universal design principles to learning environments with a goal toward greater accessibility for all learners.  This badge acknowledges participation in a faculty learning community that is dedicated to understanding a model for higher education institutions to remove barriers to learning by designing all products and environments to be accessible to everyone.

Criteria

Recipient has learned about and implemented Universal Design of Instruction (UDI) practices to the extent that she/he can influence the learning of others inside or outside the Park University community. He/she has shared their expertise on the topic of Universal Design of Instruction in one or more Park-sponsored or FCI-sponsored events (such as presenting an FCI Innovation Exchange, creating an FCI “Two-Minute Mentor,” presenting at a Department, School, or College meeting, facilitating a session at the Annual Assessment Institute or a similar University-wide event).
