Teaching Underprepared Learners (Do)

Teaching Underprepared Learners can be a challenge for faculty, to ensure all learners have the support necessary to succeed.  This badge acknowledges focused training and development on the strategies, resources, and informed research available to support underprepared learners in the classroom.

Criteria

Recipient has applied the knowledge gained on Teaching Underprepared Learners to change some aspect of her/his teaching (inside or outside the classroom). The individual has produced an extensive written reflection and shared artifacts demonstrating the change in practice (i.e. a revised assignment, new grading rubric, enhancement to a course Canvas shell, etc.)
