Reflection allows individuals to critically review different perspectives through serious thought or consideration. This badge represents focused faculty development to learn about how to integrate critically reflective activities and reflective practice as learning opportunities in their course material or as a reflective practitioner in higher education.
Recipient has applied the knowledge gained on Reflection to change some aspect of her/his teaching (inside or outside the classroom). The individual has produced an extensive written reflection and shared artifacts demonstrating the change in practice (i.e. a revised assignment, new grading rubric, enhancement to a course Canvas shell, etc.)
