      Passing the Public Relations Knowledge (PRK) exam indicates knowledge of public relations concepts, theory, terminology and ethics, as well as competency in writing skills as required for a junior or entry-level position in the public relations industry.
    • Criteria
      Exam writers must take an invigilated, 2.5 hour exam with four sections, testing:Section I - Public Relations Theory and Concepts - 10%, (multiple choice questions on public relations theory and concepts); Section II - Fundamentals of Practice - 10%, (multiple choice questions on fundamentals of practice); Section III - Workplace Readiness - 50%, (short answer questions on ethics, editing and writing skills); Section IV- Strategic Analysis -30% - Case studies; essay questions.
