      Attended three-week intensive OSS course. Completed interactive exercises for CLI, Unix, R, ROpenSci, Python, DataOne, Git & GitHub, PostgreSQL, QGIS, TileMill, OpenMEE. Acquired new skills for scientific synthesis, machine learning, data cleaning, data visualization, model assessment, geospatial analysis. Incorporated open-source & community-supported ideals for rapid, robust, reproducible research. Implemented new skills in attendee-generated, deliverable-driven small group projects.
