CNIM
Earners have demonstrated knowledge in technical and clinical aspects of Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM). Certificants are skilled in performing various types of monitoring during surgical procedures. CNIM credential holders have knowledge of anesthesia effects, troubleshooting, stimulation and recordings of muscles and nerves, identification of amplitude and latency discrepancies, and alert criteria to facilitate interpretation and notification to preserve function.
