Acuity Institute’s Kaizen Leader has been designed to teach Kaizen fundamentals and its application. It is intended for facilitators and participants of a Kaizen Event. Kaizen is a problem-solving approach that applies process improvement in a structured setting. The goal of Kaizen is to eliminate activities in processes that add cost but do not add value. A Kaizen Event is an extremely efficient method to quickly improve poor performing processes.

Earning Criteria

Students are trained and tested on their understanding of the lean tools and techniques to successfully lead a Kaizen Event. The course includes 4 lessons and 40+ quiz questions. Training is conducted online and uses a multi-media format that includes audio by Lean experts. The course is “self-paced” and can be accessed at any time – and – anywhere. On average, students complete the course in 13 hours.

Included in this course is Acuity Institute’s Kaizen Event Simulation. The simulation is designed to illustrate an entire Kaizen Event through every phase of the Kaizen PDCA methodology. When complete, you will have a significant perspective on what true Kaizen business improvement means. The Kaizen Event Simulation includes 7 exercises which are introduced throughout the PDCA Methodology.
