Individually complete 3 Business Performance Improvement Projects using any of the following methodologies: DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), Kaizen (Plan, Do, Check, Act) or Lean (FOCUS: Focus, Operate, Create, Utilize, Sustain).

Knowledge Transfer – Coaching and Training Facilitation. An MBB Candidate is required to complete ONE of the following. Option 1: Project Coaching – individually coach 4 Business Performance Improvement Project Leaders through project completion. Option 2: Training Facilitation – individually create a one-hour training course, facilitated to two separate groups of participants. Option 3: White Paper Development – individually create a case study on a relevant Performance Improvement topic.

Upon completion of the program requirements, An Acuity Institute “MBB Certification Panel” meets with the MBB Candidate to review the certification documentation provided during the program (the meeting is conducted virtually). The Acuity Institute “MBB Certification Panel” approves the MBB Certification if he/she meets the requirements for MBB Certification.
Standards
Acuity Institute is accredited as an Approved Registered Provider by the Council for Six Sigma Certification (SSC). This accreditation assures each certification includes Lean Six Sigma concepts, tools and techniques considered to be the standard of a Master Black Belt within the Council’s Body of Knowledge.
