The earner has contributed to an active AFB Client Solutions accessibility project through their role in the AFB Talent Lab as an Advanced Intern, Resident, or Digital Accessibility Specialist. To be eligible, AFB Talent Lab participants must successfully complete all curriculum requirements and program activities for the program’s first instructional year and be accepted into the Advanced Internship or Digital Accessibility Specialist program through a competitive application process.

Earning Criteria

Complete testing on all components and workflows assigned by the Project Lead, either as the user tester or pair tester, including issue reporting aligned to WCAG 2.1 standards and other industry guidelines, issue replication steps, and issue remediation recommendations as required by the project scope.

Complete quality assurance checks in collaboration with other AFB project staff, retesting or validating issues as needed.

Contribute to narrative reports to be delivered to the client, including common accessibility issues, usability trends, and recommendations for improving the user experience, providing perspective as either a usability tester or pair tester.

Participate in delivery activities with the consulting client as assigned by the Project Lead or required within the project scope.
