Earning Criteria

Complete coursework on the development and application of prioritized testing, research, and recommendations with use of WCAG standards for existing and emerging technologies in relation to accessibility requirements and law, as well as personas for a given product that includes users with various disabilities.

Develop testing plans for a variety of scenarios, including outlining accessibility processes for organizational leadership and creating a test plan for an existing web product that has never been tested for accessibility previously.

Create an accessibility testing plan for an assigned website, defining the goals and requirements for testing and including a full scope for the pages, workflows, and components on the site.

Given a set of testing results from an assigned website, assign prioritization (critical, high, moderate, or low) to the identified issues, providing a justification for each.

Create a set of testing reports including a narrative summary of accessibility trends and recommendations and an at-a-glance report card, writing and formatting the documentation appropriately for an audience to include company executives, designers, and developers.
