Earners of the Elijah Watt Sells Award badge, named in honor of one of the country’s first CPAs, are part of annual recognition the AICPA bestows upon candidates with outstanding performance on the Uniform CPA Examination®. Badge earners are eligible to receive the award in the calendar year following the year in which they completed testing. On all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination®, these candidates obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 and passed on their first attempt.
