Complete a Verbal Judo (or equivalency) training session that covered the fundamentals of tactical communication and de-escalation techniques during crisis response.

Complete a professional journal that reflects on the Earner's ability to apply the fundamentals of Verbal Judo in a real-world context by highlighting de-escalation techniques, strategies, and evidence of using verbal-judo techniques. Please see Professional Journal Template for guidance.

Compile a portfolio that includes course completion certificates and a professional journal.
