Earners will assess social vulnerability in communities and analyze past environmental issues in Albion, Michigan through an environmental justice lens. Earners will apply classroom learning about social vulnerability and environmental issues to assess environmental justice in an earner's hometown.

Earning Criteria

Complete Environmental Justice in Albion course, consisting of six hours of critical reading, analysis, and reflection.

Attend a field trip that provides context to course content about environmental justice in Albion, Michigan.
Standards
