Interfaith Leadership

Earners will plan, engage in, and facilitate civil interfaith dialogue. Earners will be able to articulate their own beliefs and values while respecting others. Earners will work with individuals of varying beliefs to identify and solve community problems pertaining to religious and spiritual belonging.

Earning Criteria

Acceptance into the Interfaith Ambassadors program and attend weekly cohort meetings.
Complete the interfaith dialogue workshop.
Attend two religious or spiritual events on campus and submit a written reflection about the experiences.
Visit a religious site and community and submit a written reflection about the experience.
Attend an interfaith dialogue or event and submit a written reflection about the experience.
Plan, facilitate, and/or moderate an interfaith dialogue or event; participate in a team debrief; and submit a written reflection about the experience.
Work with a multi-faith team to identify and solve a problem related to religious or spiritual belonging in the college community; participate in a team debrief; and submit a written reflection about the experience.
Write a reflection articulating religious and/or spiritual beliefs, the importance of interfaith engagement, and boundaries regarding interfaith engagement.
