An example would be researching resources that intersect careers and supporting career development through multiple lenses of mental health and wellness and your reflection on how these resources impact career readiness and ongoing career success.
Students connect with or follow an organization that is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) on LinkedIn and share a brief overview of the organization and why they chose to connect with them and reflect on the organization's DEI or mission statement and how it relates to the equity and inclusion competency.
Students attend a workshop or discussion hosted by the Institute for Cultural Unity or the Women's Leadership Center and reflect on their experience. There are many opportunities to engage with peers to celebrate the diversity of the Alfred University community.
