Learning to network is a critical skill for students who are preparing for the workforce. Students completing this task will attend a Career Fair or networking event hosted by the Career Development Center to develop their networking skills.
Students Identify 5 words that describe their professional brand and value and use this exercise to formulate a personal value statement related to their career interests.
Students practice celebrating their accomplishments and emphasizing key results on their professional documents by reviewing their experience entries. Schedule a résumé/CV appointment with CDC staff to workshop these entries.
Students identify and describe at least three goals and describe how they relate to their chosen field or industry.
