The 5G EDGE program is designed to develop workplace skills in the youth workforce demographic (ages 18-24). This is a facilitated program consisting of 20 workshops that take approximately 30 hours to complete.

Earning Criteria

Participants are required to complete each of the course modules, participate in class, and pass an assessment test representing question on each module with a cumulative grade of at least 80%.

NACE Competencies for a Career-Ready Workforce

The National Association of Colleges and Employers has defined a set of 8 competencies for a career-ready workforce. The Department of Labor refers to this list. The 5G EDGE program addresses Leadership, Equity & Inclusion, Communication, Professionalism, and Teamwork.
