Earning Criteria

TEAM DEVELOPMENT AND RETENTION may include: Specific strategies/communications plan to retain and acquire new teams, a minimum of 2 new pre-event activities, implementation of Team Mentor Program, monthly connects with team captains, and targeted support group attendance/collaboration.

COLLABORATION AND TRAINING may include: collaborating with other departments to maximize participant and volunteer engagement, partnering with care services in recruitment efforts, and participating in Development, Mission and Advocacy trainings as offered.

PARTICIPANT CULTIVATION AND STEWARDSHIP may include: personalized outreach to top fundraisers and team captains, utilizing a Moves Management plan to cultivate current and lapsed fundraisers, identifying a sustainable pipeline of fundraiser support, and implementing the Key to Defeat program.

MISSION AND RESEARCH CALL TO ACTION may include: incorporating interactive area and activities focused on Research and Advocacy awareness, education, and advocate recruitment, sharing research and mission updates with key stakeholders, promoting the ALS Registry, and encouraging the signing of letters to members of Congress.

CORPORATE RECRUITMENT may include: Launching a corporate community challenge, implementing a corporate teams program, hosting networking events with corporate partners, and quarterly personalized outreach to current local sponsors.

COMMITTEE DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIP may include: recruiting an Event Lead and completing eLearning Onboarding series, increasing event committee membership by 20%, committee securing in-kind donations to enhance event day experience and offset expenses, committee securing Corporate Team/Sponsorship totaling at least $5,000.
